The St. Louis Suit Project collects new and gently used suits, shirts and other business attire for the purpose of cleaning, tailoring and redistribution to individuals in financial need. Professionals attending the event will bring the items they plan to donate to Global Brew. The St. Louis Suit Project will have a table set up to collect qualifying donations and will provide donation receipts to donors. The donation receipts allow the donor to receive up to two $5 drink vouchers, in addition to allowing access to appetizers. PNC Bank will also be providing a band for everyone's enjoyment. In addition, Tom James will be raffling off a free suit suit for a lucky donor.

We encourage you to come out and enjoy the fun.

2013 Volunteer Service Council Grant

The St. Louis Suit Project has reached a milestone in its efforts. The St. Louis Suit Project is a dream undertaken by its founders without pay and when time can be found. One major hurdle in our ability to continue our efforts is inevitably monetary funding. We receive so many clothing donations that our ability to tailor and clean the suits is hindered from time to time, despite local businesses agreeing to perform this side of the operating at extremely reduced prices.

However, our consistent effort working towards our dream has gained the support of the Volunteer Service Council of St. Louis Missouri. The Volunteer Service Council has selected the St. Louis Suit Project for funding in 2013. We are elated that with the funding grant from the Volunteer Service Council, the St. Louis Suit Project will be able to reach the lives of many more individuals in need. We vow to continue our efforts in allowing an individuals mind to speak their position and not their material circumstance. We thank the Volunteer Service Council of St. Louis Missouri from the bottom of our hearts!
